This paper shows an application of the Dempster Shafer and Fuzzy model to the problem of discovery and trust in Semantic Web Services. The extended Dempster Shafer with the Fuzzy Voting Model has not been introduced before in the context of Semantic Web Services. Therefore, Dr. Maria Vargas-Vera and her Team are pioneers in the use of Dempster-Shafer Theory applied to Semantic Web Services. The work reported in this paper was partially supported by the Marie Curie Transfer of Knowledge Fellowship (TOK) of the European Community’s Sixth Framework Programme under the contract number MTKD-CT-2004-509766 (enIRaF).
